So, I don't have black hair, I don't own a purple dress, and I'm not an animator for Disney. However, I'm happy to report that I am smiling, and I live in a place with many trees.
I attended the Rochester Institute of Technology, and graduated summa cum laude with a BFA in illustration, an associates degree in Graphic Design, and a minor in Creative Writing.
I spent some time working as a graphic designer for a company that served libraries, schools and museums. In 2008, I made the decision to return to school for my masters degree in art education. I'm happy to be both a freelancer and an educator. I believe art teachers who are practicing artists are the strongest educators.
All of my artwork is hand-drawn, either with pencil or Wacom tablet. I am currently available for freelance projects.
